Ingredients
Salmon
- 1 ½ lbs salmon filets, skin removed and cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tbsp olive oil, divided
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- ¼ tsp Chinese five-spice powder
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ¼ tsp cayenne pepper
Bang Bang Sauce
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup Thai sweet chili sauce
- 1 tbsp sriracha sauce
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp lime juice, freshly squeezed
Optional Garnish
- fresh cilantro, chopped
- green onions, sliced
- sesame seeds
Directions
- Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a skillet. While the oil is heating, pat the salmon dry with a paper towel.
- Place salmon in a large bowl and toss with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, Chinese five-spice powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
- Cook the salmon in the skillet for 2-3 minutes per side. While the salmon is cooking, make the bang bang sauce by combining the ingredients and mixing well.
- Remove salmon bites and place on a plate. Top with bang bang sauce and garnishes.
